wellllll
School is done for the semester.
I've registered for my classes next semester. There's one I want to take, but it's at 8 am, and the bus doesn't pick up the kid until 8:15 sometimes. (though it's supposed to be here at 7:55, it isn't) Clearly not going to happen, but doesn't parasitology sound fun? (yes, indeed, I am that big of a science nerd)
Bus driver told me this morning that they may be on strike in January. Not sure what I'll do about that, other than drive Blake myself. I'm not really going to stress about it, but it will be a pain if that happens.
Logan is going back east to have xmas with his family on Monday. I won't see him again until the 29th. Blake's last day of school until Jan 3rd is today, so looks like my vacation isn't going to be much of anything but Blake wrangling. Which isn't bad, but it isn't being a lazy nap taker, book reader and all of the other things I'd fantasized about, either.
Of course, I was also in denial about the fact that Logan was leaving to the point where I realized I have no way to work while he's gone because I have no one to watch Blake. Uh, yeah. Nice one, Matt. Sometimes I'm such a dumbass.
In other news, I'm tapering down off the anti-depressants, so if you hear lots of pissing and moaning from me, take it with a grain of salt.
Logan and I are going to Blake's classroom for the holiday party today. Logan's going to bring his video camera, so hopefully we'll get some footage. I really should get one of those things someday, then I could torture you all endlessly with video of Blake singing jingle bells and stuff. Until I become cash flow solvent enough to do such a thing, you'll have to languish. Or at least be satisfied by my descriptions.
I'm about to take off to do my errands, and prepare for the SSI audit. They're checking up on me to make sure I'm not squandering the money they're sending me for Blake. As if. Wait until they see the tragedies that are the bank records.
Oh, and I'm going to get to go to a party of a certain lascivious nature on Sunday. Who knew?
