Just got this in email from Jordy
May. 4th, 2004 05:06 pmFriends:
For those of you who may not be in the leathery or
feathery loops on this one and who knew this great
man:
Daddy Alan Selby passed away this morning at 8:45am -
surrounded by people who loved him and who had been
keeping a deathbed vigil. He died as he lived, with
courage, good cheer and grace. Less than a week before
he was at a gala fundraiser for AEF, his favorite
charity, laughing, flirting being a butterfly. He was
in no pain when he went. I was able to be there for
the last few days of his life and to help see him out
of this world.
There will be a memorial for his life on Saturday May
22nd at the SF Eagle fro 2-m - 7pm. All are invited.
