Just when i'd decided to take the job at whatever cost to my academic situation, I go to check in with the daycare person about the 7a-7p shifts. She says no way. Apparently she had a different understanding of what 12 hour shifts meant. I am bummed, but am just taking it as a message that school is what I'm supposed to be doing right now.

Weird how life can change in a few minutes.

Current Mood: contemplative

Nothing new to report. Still jobless, school starts in a couple of weeks. The cost of books is, IMHO, astronomical.

PHYS 111 - $ 143.80 + $ 42.60 for solutions guide
PHYS 112 - $36.00
BIOL 612 - $125.65
BIOL 613 - $62.30
MATH 124 - $128.00
HEBR 101 - $21.95

For a grand total of : $560.30

The good news is that my friend has volunteered to pay the rest of my tuition, so this is the only money I have to come up with for the semester's direct school related expenses.

Can I just buy them all, photocopy them, and then return them? Guess that would be a bit too unethical, huh? Oh well, the fundraising starts right now.
