rough morning
Feb. 4th, 2005 09:29 amBlake had a really rough morning. I'm assuming he just feels like crap, but still, he was really out of control. He was that way with Logan last night while I was at work, too. Logan called me and I agreed to let them go get some hot chips (french fries - Blake learned of them when we were in Australia, so still refers to them with the antipodean "hot chips") I think that helped, well, at least because Blake fell asleep on the way home from the palace of the golden M.
I was at work. We had an OK evening work wise. Todd showed up with flowers, and I was really touched. He is such a sweet guy, and it was so nice to see him. The guys I worked with, upon his arrival realized they'd forgotten my birthday and scrambled to send Adrian out to fetch a card and such. Adrian, of course, being a big queen, brough back a bigger bunch of flowers. I didn't have he heart to tell him Todd had brought my favorites, gerberas. Mason stopped by later, (with a present of "wash away your sins" bubble bath because he is flawless) and hung out, which was brilliant. I really had a great night, felt really nice to get to go out after work for a beverage with Mason and the guys I work with. Felt almost like a grown up.
Ran to safeway after and got some adult beverages for Logan, to help him decompress from the Blake meltdown.
My first class of the day, parasitology, is over. I love that class. Love, love, love. I'm in the office where I'm a TA, and then it's off to history class, and then cell bio (which I may get to drop because I took it at WVU, and wouldn't that just be brilliant)
And it's Friday, so I think I will go home and make something nice for Shabbat dinner and wish a ertain someone could come over and share. Though I'm sure I'll ever be able to make brisket like theirs, I still love to cook and feed the family on Friday nights.
Cake Sunday. Anyone care what time? I was thinking 1 or 2. Anyone coming?
