Spent about 45 minutes on campus at UC Davis the other day.
Found potential sublet.
Saw some really weird stuff: conservative or orthodox young men tabling for the Republican Party on Yom HaShoah.
The bookstore in the student union has a Clinique counter in it. Big one, too.
Also ran across a preternaturally large prayer circle in the middle of the quad.
Oh, it's so not SF. (Perhaps the dairy cows on campus were a clue)
I'm sure I'll manage, but it will be interesting.
