Yeah, my history teacher has no record of my ever handing in my Eleanor Roosevelt paper. (this is true for about 15 people, not just me)
The file, backup file and the other copy of the file on my computer? All corrupt and unrecoverable.
I have until Friday.

ed: Found a copy on another backup on my firewire backup from hell disk. Phew.
Oh, and my graduation petition was rejected, so I had to get the department chair to sign somehting and hand it back in. The worst system ever.
Really, WTF? Bring it on.
