trying to stay cool and failing miserably

I got my first energy bill. Apparenly it costs $80/week to run the AC, so that's been turned right off. I am laying here, sweating.
It's nearly 90 F in here. I am trying to figure out how to get the apartment people to replace the AC with something more energy efficient. Any hints?
Found out a friend of mine in London has had breast cancer surgery. I'm trying to convince Blake to make some art for her. Maybe later when it cools down. All he wants to do right now is play in cold water in the bathroom sink. Who can blame him?
