Yeah, being able to sleep when opportunity knocks is a Very Useful Skill. One of the first parental ones I learned, I think.
The third pargraph made me wince, not because I think it's bad as in "bad kid" stuff, but because I'm sure it hurts because of your RA. I wish we lived closer--for the thousandth time.
