Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says.

דוד דליה אנחנו אתן

Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?

pillow

What is the last thing you watched on TV?

Teletubbies

WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is.

10:55 am PST

Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?

11:03 am PST

With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?

Teletubbies, Thomas the Tank engine song, "Seaside", Blake crunching on froot loops and the ever present ringing in my ears.

When did you last step outside? What were you doing?

Last night to walk Eliana to her car.

Before you came to this website, what did you look at?

Itunes.

What are you wearing?

White v-neck tshirt. Levis type 1 size 38 jeans which are way too baggy. Jockey boxer briefs. Mismatched Thor-lo socks (hey, it's laundry day). Black and white Gripfast steel-toe wingtips.

Did you dream last night?

Maybe. Don't remember.

When did you last laugh?

Last night. A lot.

What is on the walls of the room you are in?

A phone. A full length mirror. A thermostat.

Seen anything weird lately?

It's San Francisco. If I saw something weird, it wouldn't be weird, because it's here. Like the long line of people dressed up as clowns holding hands and walking backwards around campus on Thursday afternoon. I loved it because no one even cared enough to ask them what the hell they were doing.

What do you think of this quiz?

It's more interesting than usual.

What is the last film you saw?

South Pacific.

If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?

A place to live.

Tell us something about you that we don't know.

Umm. I don't know. Undoubtedly someone would know anything I volunteered. Let's see, I'm clueless when it comes to people flirting with me. I haven't had sex (with anyone else) since a trick with a guy just before Pride in 2002. Blake HATES having his hair cut, and I feel like a rat-assed bastard for doing it anyway.

If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?

Decrease the tendency of people to kill each other. There are other things I'd like to do, but they're certainly much more contentious, so I'll settle for this one.

Do you like to dance?

I love to. It's fun and I think I'm kind of Ok at it for a white boy. (though someone did once say to me, "I thought you were butch until I saw you dance . . ." I blame this on PSue. She is so much fun to dance with. If you ever get the chance, you should.

George Bush: is he a power-crazy nut case or someone who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?

He's a bubble head too narcissistic to know he's being played by the party machine and could be easily replaced by the release of any number of tidbits of information - like his National Guard AWOL info or his Texas driving record which is mysteriously missing.

Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?

Was thinking of Aislin or Noah.

Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?

Named him Blake. His Hebrew name is Baruch. Next son's name might be Aviram.

Would you ever consider living abroad?

I want to live in .au.

Will you pass on this survey?

Consider it done.

Wow, long time no see

Heh, thanks. I'm amazed at how few people from my years at the Lone Star still even say hello in real life.

Good to see you again, even if virtually.

Second semester at SF State and I still can't read bazooka comics in Hebrew. I have learned the present and past tense of pi'el and pa'al verbs, and know about, oh, I dunno, 30 of them. Not bad considering I started learning the alef-bet in Sept of last year.

Still, my teacher is this great ass kicking Israeli woman. She has to be the best teacher I've ever had for just about anything. The class has ddwindled to about 10 people from 40 at the beginning of the first semester, but we are friendly and it's a fun class. (hard, but fun)

My kid knows a little, too., but just stuff he's memorized from a video.

It says, "David, Dalia, We and They" It was a line in my Hebrew book before a series of conjugations.

Well, when you come to Australia, if you want to get some interpretational flirting practice, I'm more than happy to volunteer *wink*

I'll consider it a date, albeit a long off one save winning the lotto or something.

That's probably a good thing - I need some time to develop skills in flirting, because currently I don't really have any!

flirting skills?

It's okay if you haven't any flirting skills. Matt won't be able to tell if you're flirting unless you say, "Matt, I'm flirting with you!" At that point you can just go with whatever you want. I know from experience!

Well, this is what I'm thinking. I say "Matt, I'm gonna start flirting with you sometime in the next half hour." And then sometime I try to start flirting, and we'll see if he picks up on it and if I'm successful in flirting!

Certainly I was. I was hoping you'd be there for moral support *grins* and wouldn't want to make you jealous! Still, i have no skills in flirting whatsoever, and while I doubt I'll need them any more to pick up with, they seem to be useful in maintaining social relationships...

Moral support at the very least! *chuckle* And no, not jealous at all about social flirting sweetheart :)

Sounds like a lot of fun to me - I can hold up progress score cards for accuracy and flair, keep an eye on the Dense-O-Meter, give pointers ... maybe even sell tickets ...

Flirting as non-contact sport?

Contact if I'm very lucky, no doubt.

I promise to try to not register too high on the dense-o-meter.

Honestly.
