Hope all's well with you.

I'm awake, getting ready to start the day. Trying to get Blake dressed to get him on the bus but he seems to think all he needs is his Thomas Backpack. I'm trying to assure him that he can't leave the house naked, and he keeps looking at me like I've lost my mind.

I also seem to be developing some weird cough/cold thing. Odd since my illnesses almost never start with just a cough.

The RA is making me super extra achey these days. Weird when the chronic pain starts up after having some relief for several months. How did I live with this every day?

That sounds like it would be priceless...
Good luck with the clothes.

I did somehow manage to get him in a tragically cute outfit, and out the door. The bus showed up on time, and he was so excited when he finally saw it, he started jumping up and down.

I even managed to get him to wear briefs instead of pull ups. He doesn't like them, but we're transitioning to them as part of the plot to get him to use the potty.

All in all, a good morning, actually.

he's now off to school wearing his super extra cute outfit with the gray pants his fancy new black and red shoes. So freaking cute.

And briefs! He is wearing briefs, not pull ups. So yeah, Mister Blake.

Yeah, I was diagnosed a couple of years ago. I don't pay much attention to it because I've not had too much trouble with it lately.

I had a similar incident with my son as well this morning. He tried to leave the house in his boxer briefs and guitar. Quite the little rock star. It's nice to see that other parents deal witht this sort of thing to. Have a great day.

RA flare-ups can be really difficult. especially the fatigue and general all-over achiness. it can make you feel like you're wading through molasses. I often get some kind of upper respiratory infection at the start of a flare-up too. (I'm in the middle of a real doozy right now myself).
Sorry you're having a rough time. what meds help?
feel better soon.

I have RA, too.

I live with RA as well. It is a total pain, pardon the pun. I've been in pain a lot so I hear you. In fact, it's more unusual for me not to have pain. Granted I live in a typicallly cold, damp climate but in saying that, when I was in Majorca I was still in pain. I can fully emphasize.
