No rest for the wicked
Jun. 25th, 2004 10:16 amGot a call yesterday morning from Clay, the aussie bear I used to be in love with. He's in town for pride, so after I put Blake on the school bus, I went down to meet up with him at his hotel.
Emotions are very odd things. I find, that after not having seen him for 4 or 5 years, I'm still fond of him in a way I can't quite explain. It's as if we've never been apart, just easy and comfortable. It was lovely to get some time with him. Hope to see him again before he goes home. He said he might try to catch up with me on Sat. He also brought me a syndey bears tshirt and footy socks (that's football socks for all the yanks) to match. I'm such a sucker for footy socks. Footy socks and Cherry Ripe and Meat pies and. . . anyway. Clearly I'm a dork.
I'm a sleepy dork, but I'm going to see Shrek2 with Jonny. I promised. I'd rather nap, but clearly, that isn't how one best spends time with friends, so I'm hauling my sleepy arse out of bed and onto the bus.
