Often when I wake up, I have at least a little bit of time to myself before Blake wakes up.
I don't do much during this time because I don't want to make noise and wake the kid up.
It's really nice to have a bit of time to just think. I'm so distracted when he is awake, it's really quite a treat to have this sort of golden hour, or sometimes 5 min, but still nice, quiet and slightly peaceful.
Eliana is watching Mister Blake today so I can go volunteer for Pride doing the EMT thing. Didn't find anyone to do it tomorrow, so I'll have to tell them today that I can't make it. Hopefully today will be enjoyable.
Need to find my hat, and sunscreen and get that stuff together, eat some protein for breakfast and pick up the floor as best I can so that Eliana doesn't have to work too hard to chase after Blake.
