Day started out with me tired and cranky. My hands were so stiff when I woke up (from the 14 hour drive here yesterday) that I could hardly close them. That went away in a little while. Got over to the conference place and got our packets, came back and we were all so tired and hungry we were a bit grisly until we managed to get some breakfast at the IHOP next to the hotel. (yes there is a goddess, and she put us ina hotel next to Blake's favorite restaurant chain)
I did my workshop. I have no idea how it went, but hopefully it was all right. Blake was a superstar for the whole road trip and managed to make it almost all the way through my workshop before needing a break. Bless Adrian, and Elias who entertained him and then Adrian took him outside for a walk.
After the workshop we spent some good quality time with Dorian and his service dog, Jet. Blake loved the dog and fed him treats and even got a few kisses. I got lots of kisses. I needed a bit of dog smootch.
Blake got to have a good long romp in the pool, and then we came back to the room and just before our dinner was delivered, Blake passed out. I got to eat my food, and now I'm getting a bit of computer time because he's still asleep. Bless him.
I miss having a constant connection to you all, and hope that we will be able to get a cable modem set up at home in the next couple of weeks.
I'm probably going to go to sleep much too late and wake up too early.
