I've also had smoked Impala, emu sausages, and some other random bush fare when I was in .au and .ke (Kenya.) I think I had some other stuff in Kenya, too. We ate at a restaurant called Carnivore in Mombasa, and like the high school aged folks that we were, we all ordered different things and shared. I figured since I pretty much have likes anything I've ever had smoked, the smoked impala appetizer would go just fine with my big steak. (I hadn't eaten much meat on the trip b/c I'd had some horrid dysentery type thing and was mostly eating banannas and dry toast but felt like I couldn't pass up the chance to eat at such a place)
