ed: actually it was A, A, B, B-, B-
Not bad at all, has lowered my GPA a bit, but whatever. Just happy to be done.

One more term, and I'm done.

I'm thinking I won't walk in the graduation, but will have a huge party instead.

Whaddya think?

And here you were all worried that you were going to get bad grades. Sheesh.

Yeah, party, big time. Not sure about the walking thing. It might be kinda fun, since this is your first degree and all.

I did the walk in the small graduation with my specific college (Visual and Performing Arts) within Syracuse University, but didn't bother going to the big graduation where everyone shows up. Kurt Vonnegut was the guest speaker, actually, and I couldn't have cared less about hearing him talk. He's overrated, IMO.

Are the programs at state divided into colleges? Maybe you could do what I did, if that is the case, and do the walk for the sciences college and not bother to show up for the larger ceremony.

Regardless, I do however, think that you should do the walk for your masters, cause you get to wear one of those cool sashes with your gown.

Oh yeah, that's the other thing, you have to fork over cash to rent a gown from the school, so if money is tight, don't bother.

I say, walk the walk.

You worked damn hard to earn that diploma, you should stand up and get yours.

Then come home and par-tay!

on how you feel about your classmates. i don't plan to walk when i graduate because (a) i won't know anyone there, and (b) i'm not flying six hours to graduate. plus, there's something to be said for graduating from a school whose campus you haven't actually visited. :)

WALK!

Ritual's important. It need not be solemn or stuffy, but it's a lovely way to acknowledge your years of hard work.

AND have the party.

No discussion Mister! Got it?

I say PARTY! I will have to come down for that one. Please let me know details as we get closer to absolute zero. I would love to be present to help celebrate this accomplishment since I do not get to share the daily bitching, studying, distractions, disasters, and Mr. B. Smooches.
