You didn't miss my name, dear. They don't call them. They don't even call you by department. Just "on this side will be the college of science and engineering, business and creative arts, on this other side will be behavioral and social sciences, humanities and everyone else." They ceremonially tell the story of one graduate from each college at the university, give them a hood, and that's it. The rest is just an endless line of people in purple polyester.

Luckily I wasn't looking for a deep meaningful culminating experience.
