That after some advil, rest and mroe body work, the sciatica has significantly improved.

Phew. I feel nearly normal. I don't think I'll be rollerblading or running anywhere, but I can walk up the stairs again.

Yay!

Thanks for the help and support.

Being able to walk up the stairs is a BIG deal. I should know. So glad you're feeling better. Take it easy, ok?

Owie! Look after yourself, Matt. Sciatica is so painful. My mum suffers from it and I know the pain can be pretty terrible. I think the doctor was a little over-sensitive about your weight. From the photos I've seen, I don't think your weight is that big of an issue. You look great to me. If it makes you feel any better, I'm a mere slip of a thing (just 105 pounds soaking wet) and I still have problems with my hips and pain.

So glad to hear the good news, Matt.
Keep taking the Advil even if it lets up.
Not forever, obviously and I have no idea what is considered a goodly amt of time.
I just remember that I took it daily for quite awhile when my sciatica first acted up.
Pelvic tilts were a great form of pain reliever too.
Good health to you!
