The only development that is noteworthy today is that my car {sniff}, my beloved little station wagon did not pass smog. It will never pass smog because it would cost more than the car is worth to fix it and I have zero car budget. Sucks because it has really good tires on it, is in relatively decent shape mechanically and I just can't stand the fact that the car runs fine but I don't get to use it anymore.

I have procured the paperwork that I need to turn it in to the state. I didn't fill it out tonight. I will fill it out tomorrow. Then I will have to clean out the car, and wait for them to come and take it away. One of my neighbors also had a 98 Ford and told me this was likely to happen. She gave me the paperwork for the program. They take my car, and since I'm very low income, they give me $1000.

Good bye little 1998 Ford Escort Wagon. You are the most expensive thing I have ever owned in my life. I will miss you. I will miss having my "Blue Car" as Blakey calls it.

Soon I will be the owner of a $500 car seat but will have no car to put it in.

Ahh, my life. I couldn't make this up if I tried.

My car is a gross polluter as well, 1986 Volvo, all old cars are considered gross polluters.

I think Carlos will be able to help, 415-567-8420, he's on McAllister, block or 2 from Masonic.
